I am an experienced psychologist with a strong background in counseling individuals and families on a wide range of issues, including career challenges, addictions, depression, anxiety, and overall mental health. My approach emphasizes personal happiness, growth, and creating open dialogue around present concerns and future goals. With both clinical expertise and an M.B.A., I offer unique support for personal and professional development, including executive coaching, change management, and strategic decision-making. I also bring extensive experience in addressing substance use and its impact on both personal well-being and group dynamics.
Navigating adolescence doesn’t have to feel impossible. Through therapy, family dialogue, and practical strategies, I help create a path toward greater happiness, healthier relationships, and lasting personal growth.
Whether from abuse, neglect, or traumatic events, the lasting impact can feel overwhelming. Through evidence-based therapy, I help individuals and families address these wounds, develop coping strategies, and begin the process of lasting healing.
No matter how many times you’ve tried before, change is possible. Through supportive therapy, I help individuals develop constructive coping strategies, navigate setbacks, and reclaim a life of strength and balance.
The young child of an alcoholic was not in control. The alcoholic’s life was inflicted on him/her, as was his/her environment. In order to survive when growing up, he/she needed to turn that around.
Every person’s journey is unique, which is why therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches — including individual counseling, family therapy, group work, and clinical techniques such as hypnosis — to create treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals and circumstances. Whether addressing mental health challenges, navigating relationships, or working through trauma, I adapt the process to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll build a path that supports your strengths, fosters resilience, and helps you move toward lasting growth and well-being.
I am possibly the only psychologist in the Pittsburgh area who uses a Therapy Dog. Sophie my Miniature Schnauzer, is a valuable tool when working with children and with people who have a history of trauma. Sophie is able to provide unconditional positive regard for clients, their moods, feelings, and their situational anxieties. She has assisted both young people and adults in confronting their fears and memories and makes each person feel welcome and loved.
